500 Years of British Art

Jonathan outlines the significance of British art over five centuries

Plot Synopsis Today would have been Jonathan's 64th birthday. Exclusive to PAtv: original unpublished footage of Jonathan Bowden, author, artist and political activist.

Including many outstanding examples, Jonathan outlines the significance of British art over five centuries, as well as how and why young people are not being taught the true value of our cultural heritage.

Filmed by one of PA's own veteran videographers, this is probably Jonathan's final piece to camera, recorded in either 2010 or 2011, not long before his untimely death at the age of 49.
